Some of them responded to treatment and some resisted every treatment. Its a horrible affliction which can affect anyone at all - and you dont need to have had that many partners. What puzzles me is that although 50% of the population are thought to be carrying the virus, only a relative few go on to develop visible warts. And in men, I am told, the manifestation of warts is quite rare. All I know is that I have been putting up with this things for so very long and I would give anything to be free of them; a sex life seemed out of the question since I learned what I had and even though the amount of warts is limited, I am too ashamed of them to become involved with any partner in a sexual way. I would like to know how much research is being done not just towards prevention, but for a cure for this debilitating problem. I would like to have a partner again before its too late.
